    The Sacred City Derby Girls (SCDG) is a Sacramento-based all-female flat track roller derby league. SCDG was founded in the fall of 2006 in the spirit of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association's (WFTDA) "by the skaters, for the skaters" mantra. As a WFTDA member league, SCDG is owned, managed and operated by its skaters. SCDG regularly holds tryouts for aspiring skaters and continuously recruits for its volunteer and referee staff.
